Madiba is a unique vehicle - a M.A.N. truck, custom converted with the aim of creating the ultimate all-terrain vehicle, built to the highest possible standards, with no limitations on cost, for self-sufficient luxury travel in the most remote and unspoilt areas.

Madiba has been used for travel throughout Africa and Europe and is in South Africa at the moment.

Madiba has comfortable sleeping for 4 people but can accomodate more.

  • Engine & Gearbox: 11.4 litre 4-stroke 6 cyclinfer in-line Diesel, rated at 240h.p, with hydrodynamic torque converter, lock-synchronized 6-speed gearbox. Ratio range of 6.4 to 1.0 and transfer case with lockable differential
  • Brake system:
    • Rear: Automatic load-sensitive two-circuit air brake system
    • Front: Automatic adjusting simplex hydraulic
  • Tyres: Michelin XZY 445/65 R22.5 including 2 spares
  • Cab seating: self-levelling air suspension on driver's seat with double acting hydraulic damper. Passenger seat and one seat behind
